Talacre

We consistently hear very positive comments about the design of the building, which has contributed significantly to the regeneration of the local area. In particular visitors like the look and feel in terms of the amount of light. I would not hesitate to work with David Morley Architects in the future.”
The Talacre Community Sports Centre was developed hand-in-hand with the adjacent town square to transform a run down section of Kentish Town in Camden. The design was developed with close consultation with the local community. The building contains a gymnastics hall, a multi-purpose sports hall, a soft play area, offices and public facilities - a cafe and juice bar. It has become a popular local landmark. The park within which this centre was located had become dangerous and an area for drug addicts to congregate. The new building has regenerated this area, and its now a safe and popular area to play sports.
