Quality for David Morley Architects is first and foremost a commitment to excellence in everything we do, from the detail to the big idea. This attitude is reflected in all our activities - documentation, drawing, report writing, image making, presenting and communicating, analysing and building.

Quality Management System


Our Quality Management System in (QMS) conforms fully to ISO 9001. The system has been tailored to the practice's computer-based method of work and is audited by a group of trained internal quality managers. Central to the Contract Procedures is the Plan of Work that identifies all of the key outputs and programme targets.

Some key features of the system, and the practice's quality culture are:
• Weekly project review by partners / associates
• Weekly practice meeting in which matters such as CPD, general quality related and health and safety issues are dealt with
• Regular project team meetings and reviews at every stage
• Open plan working for all staff to maximise informal communications
• Quarterly practice-wide meetings to discuss particular problems and successes and to disseminate experience and knowledge
